If you read the credits, there are a few people to thank for making this little bike see the road again.

She is mine now, no one else will ever have her.

I got my full license in 1989. One year after the graduated system came in. I remember all the boys buying these rockets without ever riding before and stacking them.

Maybe that's why I never see any of them on the road so much anymore.

Now, I thought she was probably due for a lube. The results made me smile. Not a trace of swarf, and the oil was in great nick. There was a mile or two left in it anyway.

Thanks Pete, you looked after me mate, and I will hold onto this one for the memories.

After doing the oil change I had a washer left over. I'll put it back where it belongs in the fairing in the morning.

After that I might ride it. Again. And again.

Dammit. Not what I thought this thread was about :sweatdrop

Noice bike though. I used to ride with a guy who had a blue one, they are still a quick bike.

I love having white wheels. :sarcasmsmiley:

Hang on I'm just going to get a rag.

On the plus side I can ride around with SACS written on me and get away with it.

I do mate, but I am still just legal. Shame the litre bike had to go, at least with the sem fiddy I can almost reign it in.

Actually the 2 best bikes I've had in recent years have both been oil boilers.

I miss the 1200 Bandit for sheer bottom end, but this lil' gixxer is nice and tweaky for a 23 yo bike.

:woohoo: classic rego soon :corn:

That is very nice. Love that era of bike.
White rims are different, I saw them on an older Speed Triple (tm) and they looked the part.

There's something really cool about them, it'll still shuffle along bloody well. Be gruntier/lighter than my 600 I bet

Not a bet I am swayed to shy away from. How much? Oh hang on, you were betting for me too.

A curse they are! Red would probably have been easier, but hey they look pretty slick after you've got every last speck of dust off 'em.

Mag ripper is a godsend next to the hose and chamois.

You win = Give me $10
I lose = Give me $10
