I've been reading all about this mod and interested how many have done it or know someone who has. My XB12R coughs a bit, especially when cold. I've just had it serviced, checked for faults and had the TPS reset etc but it still splutters down low, especially when cold. I was running it on 91 but have switched to 95 after advise from the shop.

So what everyone's thoughts? Seems a simple mod and I understand the rationale. There's a lot of feedback suggesting its a great improvement.

Just trying to be diligent before jumping in with the spanners.

I'm looking at doing something like the tidy job on this page http://www.buellxb.com/Buell-XB-Forum/Do-It-Yourself-Buell-Mods/How-To-Crank-Case-Breather-Mod-with-pics/6/
