Haven't seen this posted yet...

Video put together by Bridgestone straps a gyroscopic camera to a Kawasaki ZX-10R and shows Bridgestone tyre tester Tim Röthig on a flying lap of the Nurburgring in Germany.

How much do you think it would cost to build our own 40km 'one way toll road'... let's say somewhere in the wairarapa? In fact how about just north of Upper Hutt....

Also, why is all the bloody runoff on the inside of the corners instead of the outside? If you came off on most of those corners you're going to be stopped pretty bloody quick by a solid wall. Better than the street for sure but certainly nothing like as safe as Taupo racetrack.

Yeah when i first saw this I was taken by the camera. it stays vertical the whole time so like its on a pivot mount or something. Way cool vid though and first time I have seen a camera like that.
