I rotated my pegs in the weekend ( rubber missing off right hand peg for some reason ) but as usual I dropped a small split pin.
I actually dragged a very strong magnet around outside to try locate the pin but to no avail.

I imagine they are fairly generic, is this a Mitre 10 thing or more like a fastners and screws place sort of purchase?

Its not major as on the rear pillion peg pin is missing. The front peg is very well attached now.

Repco, supercheap type automotive stores have small packets of split pins in differing sizes.

Get the stainless steel ones. The one you dropped is more than likely stainless, too. That's why your magnet didn't help.

If it's only one little split pin you're after, go along to any workshop and ask nicely.

They'd be miserable pricks if they charged you for it too.

Coat hanger wire works on axle nuts.
Panel pins fit a lot of smaller uses.
the galve wire in small rolls from M10 lasts for years.
