Anyone got a cheap method to get my son's bike from Levin to Dunedin? Maybe a backload spot on a homeward bound truck.
Cheers
Yes, it's a DR650

Well you could give Biketranz a ring, I would think it would cost $300ish,
Otherwise go to some of the Auckland based distribution centres, Auckland to Dunedin is a fair haul, though, they dont usually send empty trucks down.
Good luck all the same.

Convince my boss and my wife to give me time off and pay my airfares and I'd ride it back.
Might take a while but see if there are KB people around the country who are prepared to ferry it a bit of the way each. I think a bike was transported from mid NI to upper SI this way over a month.

I've used Biketranz previously and they were great to deal with.
I remember back when I was looking at who to use, there was a company that was getting absolutely trashed on some other website. Anyone remember who that was?

Ha ha, I'm no good to you - trying to get to Winton but stuck in Ranfurley. I normally don't mind snow but this storm is a doosey.
