By coincidence (realy!) I was getting lunch as the "parade" went by. It was hopeless, there were only about 2 or 3 good bikes. One I did like was a very tasty TL1000R in blue.

Did the booby tour today with another 7 bikes for Auckland . Excellent excuse for s days riding and all our gas was paid for. Plenty of spectators in Paeroa, Waihi and Kati Kati - awesome to see grass roots NZ is less conservative than the dicks in
power in Tauranga. Tauranga was awesome - great crowd, some protestors (good on them they are entitled to their say), good work by the Police. Great day and good bikes - didn't see any crap myself, a fee harleys, couple of victories, couple of big suzukis, a guzzi and a BMW amongst those I saw. Everyone of them someone's pride and joy. I'd be happy to ride with these guys and girls any time.

From what I could see the crowd was only taking photos of bikes of the 2 legged variety.
