In other words, we can't implement tech to put people out of a job because the economy can't handle too much unemployment. What's politiciany about it, is that somebody who truly wished to make a change would go on at length about how that could be achieved with just the slightest provocation, but politicians give evasive answers even when pressed because they do not have a robust plan to actually achieve their aims. Now if I were a conspiracy nut, I'd think that it had been removed because too many people were looking at the page a little too much and liking what they saw. Not sure how that can be the case given that the things I'd like to look at make no sense ;).

Aye, works better in stainless and aluminium though. I used corten for deck plating on my schooner, sometimes you can get away with 4mm corten over nominal frame spacing whereas in MS you'd be up for 5mm. Still worked out stiffer, and the weight makes a big difference at that height above waterline.

I don't really have a problem with that sort of back door charity, in moderation, it was common as fuck well before they invented "proper" social welfare.

I see things my tax money has paid for every day that delight me.
For the greater part im fairly pleased how it is spent.
Apart from handouts to undeserving minority's, Id say there are governments that are far worse value for money that our one.
