I did a search but couldn't find anything relevant.... so here goes - My handlebars could do with coming back, closer to me a couple of inches.
Various friends have suggested risers. I am assuming this would be best left to the professionals? I guess I would need new/longer cables? I am trying to judge if I can do this financially, or if I just have to get on with it and lean forward a little bit like I am currently doing. It is making my back hurt a bit, I mean its not the end of the world but I would prefer to be sitting more upright. The last thing I want is for the guys to say they can do it themselves, and to end up with a dismantled bike and then have to pay a real mechanic to do it....

They are a piece of piss to put on, seriously...Anne got some put on the Bandit (30mm ) and it took all of 3 minutes (ok 7 minutes)...put some risers on and then tilt the bars while ya at it..
Its so simple, yes even a woman ....opps, I've said to much haven't I?....:innocent:

We do need something like that! I also need my own garage..... it is full of motorcyle bits and I can't find any of my tools... I think I will buy pink tools and hope that stops Mr Hellokitty using them.
I will have a look tomorrow at Annes bike.

I am thinking seriously about getting some for the ST-R: if you buy some, please share the link: presumably if the manufacturers make stuff for HD they will make stuff for modern Triumphs
