Overdue wof?

I know I'm going to get burned for this but, wof is overdue.... only by a few days. Just havent had the time. Next opportunity will be Monday.
The bike is still minty fresh, will pass no worries at all. Just wondering if anyone knows what the damage is if I do get pulled over and checked. Is it just a fine? or, could they make me walk home?

just a fine 200 or 250 but quite often if the PIG isn't an arse they'll usually allow a 28 day grace if its only a few days over

If you don't staunch up and behave like a trained seal you should get:

A $200 ticket with those great words "14 days compliance"

Get yer WOF within 14 days and you pay zilch.

So much for revenue gathering ....

Nope. Unless there was a defect with the bike that caused the crash.

I'd phone the place that you're going to get the WOF at beforehand. That way if you get pulled over, you can tell them that you are going for a WOF, and they can ring XXX for confirmation.

Been involved with one before too and it was settled just as quickly as a normal claim, settled within two weeks. The car was uncomplied and unregistered.

Aha! I get ya. so, you dont pay the fine if you get it done and take in the proof to your local station.
What about parking wardens? Correct me if I am wrong but they can also write a fine for overdue WOF. Do you know if its the same deal?

Till the WOF is more than a worthless sticker, I'll only get one because I have to for licence, other than that I'll keep the vehicle in a safe standard get one once a year because I'm forced to for the licence & you guys can just keep giving me meaningless pieces of paper which I will never pay. your in glenfield semi safe zone. dont head anywhere near the haven i got snapped there, they do wof checks near the bridge. 200 bux fine. anything up to 1500 apparently but i thing the cop is all shit. If your bike looks clean and your not a hoon i dont see why you would get pulled up, not unless your infront of one and they start hacking shit up and see that your wof is gone.

Funny you should say that, coz since my wof expired I have noticed more police on the roads than ever...lol I was heading down Wairau road at around 1am, no traffic on the roads apart from a police car going the other way. He does a U-turn and follows me. The whole time I'm thinking "please dont pull me over, please dont pull me over"
