Testing the legs

So bike should be arriving within the next few hours *fingers crossed
and im planning on heading for a ride up east coast road to state hiway 17 and potter around stanmore bay. Should be a great evening

ne one know of ne good roads up that way??

Lots of good Roads up that way. I ride upto Kaukapakapa for a coffee and back to see an old friend quite regularly.

If you cruise up that way, the Dairy flat highway isnt too bad. There is a nice 80 km/hr road that joins sh17 to it, and the Coatsville highway road is fantastic with low traffic.

Slightly further away from that though, SH16 is the best driving road in the area, all the way up to wellsford.
