Rick, are you going down with anyone? How many bikes? Just thinking if you and Will are sharing (or he can share with Henk), we could take your bike and you not have to tow the trailer.
Can discuss the finer details nearer the event, as well as having the results of whose entry got there first and the losing penalties of course lol

You need better excuses, the ones you've come up with so far have been LAME.
Hey, who you riding with for the two hour? Henk was busy talking about who he'll ride with this year if Craig's still out of action/or not up for it. He has someone in mind, but I'm just being nosey.

Your sponsor usually rides with Tuna. Still got a few months to get it sorted. Craig thinks he'll be riding next month or October, sso he "should" be right for it (if he's allowed out lol)

tALK young Robert (and the rest of the whanau) to head down for Wellington, problem solved. Then again, there will be points up for grabs, and he'll definitely be beating me for the season.
sorry, choice of points at Mt Welly, or riding Kaitoke, the Kai wins. We're definitely heading down, can ride Mt Welly anytime, and I don't care about points. Ah well, maybe there'll be more port for the rest of us hahaha
Trace does need to get further than Taupo though, you know it's a fun track, and I reckon young Will will enjoy it.

I imagine:
The night according to Dave.
I swanned off to a friends house, had a few quiet drinks.
feeling it was prudent to keep a clear head for the next days racing I headed off home earlier than I could have.
Upon returning home I attempted to woo my good lady with some suave charm.
I can't understand why she is angry.
The night according to Mrs Dave.
Dave got pissed again and woke me up when he stumbled in asking for a root at 3am.
Stupid bastard.

Yip, it was way late in the piece. At least 6.30pm. All I recall (not much, but blame alzheimers rather than booze) is ensuring you got into YOUR bed and then coming out and seeing Dave sitting there. Don't think I lasted much more, but I remember thinking somewhere between Manfeild and Wellington that I needed my nana nap. I guess I need more than 3 hours sleep these days.

I know you hate FXR's, but we could drag a spare one down for you. Was going to bring my F5 bike to see how it runs before Taupo, but that's a diesel pig as well, so can leave that at home and bring Craig's bigger stinkier diesel pig down instead. (he's still broken and we'll tell him after the fact lol - his bike lives with us, our wood chipper lives with him, must get that back home one of these days, I guess, oops).
Or, what do you need for your bike to get him going again? I did see a post and saw Dave? offer something, but too lazy to dredge up and look hahaha
Right found it. What year is the engine? Found a bike for sale for $450ono, which was for sale in January and February, so tempted to phone the dude and see if it's still for sale, if he'll take less and we can do an engine transplant down there. Then again, not sure what state the engine is in, but can find out. Oh, 1980 bike.
