Normally I'm pretty well on the 'burn them' side of the fence but I dunno about that one.... I think its a case of you would have to be there really as it could be reported from either point of view. (not excusing him - drinking and visiting his daughter should be grounds for comviction alone)

The way I read it she tried to forcefully take his phone off him and then threw it in the bog.

She should be charged with assault and willfull damage too.

Too bad about his travel restrictions, he should have thought about that before committing the offence!

That corrections manager growing and supplying drugs to the prisoners got home detention FFS! (this is not about drugs, just the offence)

The Maori bloke selling passports up North got 18 months for being a nuisance!

IMHO Judges are part of the problem rather than the solution to injustice in this country!

The police do a great job catching the scum of NZ, then these judges and lawyers take all that "real world" effort the cops have put in, twist and distort the facts and use smart word plays and bullshit clause's in the law to allow the crim's softer penalties and usually more rights than the victims!.
The whole bloody system needs to be addressed, before the thought of victims resorting to vigilantie justice...becomes a reallity!

Remember kids, only men can do assaults, women can't....

They should both be charged or none of them....

They're both tools and were having a cat fight....

A "good" lawyer? :shit:

??????????? used to be my lawyer (and is a family friend) is always trying to convince me that there is such a thing as an "honest" lawyer!

Me thinks he protest too much! :shifty:

Notice how dog owners start look like their dogs?

Notice how criminal lawyers start to behave like ..... ? Well, you be the judge! (piss take) :Pokey:

It's funny how people with "important" jobs or status get afforded greater leniancy when before the Judges in this country.

I know of cases (less serious than assault) where a conviction is handed down, despite ramifications of the offender losing their job and being unable to provide for their family.

What's the difference ?

And he had previously pleaded guilty to a charge of common assault ? Was this a previous case or this one ?

Is he a repeat offender ?

'NOEL JAMES OSBOURNE: A conviction would "severely impact on his mana''.'

Really...well, boo fucking hoo.

I still reckon he needs a kick up the arse. If I'd been the judge he'd have got no sympathy from me.

Have you ever lived with a pregnant woman? They are truly possesed by the devil & any attempt to co habitate with one should be considered to be foolhardy in the extreme.
I certainly dont condone rubbing an enfiecieated hand in one's face & suggesting they eat shit however.

He received a text from some chick, bitch accused him of cheating then forcefully took his phone and dropped it in the toilet all in front of their 2 year old daughter. I call it justice that he got off. If you want him to be convicted then it's only fair that she get charged with assault and wilful damage too. Gotta love the inequality between the sexes there aye?

sure looks like a crock of shit to me. its all backwards innit?
current belief = 'The accused could lose out, so we will let him off to save him'
should be = 'if youve got that much to lose, you should fucking well know better than anyone'

A conviction would also "severely impact on his mana".

Well if his mana might be inpacted then of course he should be let off lightly...

Well if his mana might be inpacted then of course he should be let off lightly...Clearly a load of shite... we all know that the natives can regenerate their mana by beating woman and children. Presumably like Kahui you get a bonus if you kill them.
