That number will be in the MNZ annual accounts.
If a donation or expenditure was made directly to the MX des Nations team then it will have a discrete entry in the accounts.
Off the top of my head I think there was a donation made, but I can't be sure of that.
The annual accounts were offered to all delegates at AGM and should be on line or available from MNZ office.

i got a full breakdown of last years costs because the brief bit they put into the books last year i thought was not enough, i can not remember the exact figure MNZ put in so i wiill not guess, i know they put in a bit, and the Taupo club and some others fund raised out side this as well
a couple of things i remember, i do not have the figures with me or can not remember exact figures, but Troy Lee designs team/company did a hell of a lot for very little cash, i was suprised by how little they charged to take the semi truck and team out there,
take what it would cost to send 3 riders and mechanics, out and hire bikes, and a truck and everything you need for the team, and it ad's up so fast, Ben and Josh (and the King brothers before them) used there team and contacts to sort this out for a long time, and i think this year shows how much work they have done to make it happen over the years,
we do not have that level of contact or pull with the teams to make it happens this year.

I know there was a lot of fundraising that went on and I think even financially it has cost the riders in the past. I remember JC writing an article on his personal expenses.
It would be interesting to know if all that money came from MNZ or if that was the total including fundraising money.
Do MNZ put anything into road racing? I approached them asking if they would put up $$$ for a carnet to race in OZ which effectively wouldnt cost anything and they said yeah... na.
Did Jake Lewis or Daniel Mettam etc get a bit of support for there efforts recently?

I would imagine MNZ get most of there revenue from MX and a fully support the MXON.

I would imagine the only way you'll get the correct answer would be to ask the people that are currently running MNZ!!!

Im creating a discussion. I dont waste my time calling them, I emailed and called them several times about a similar query. I waited for months to get an answer and it wasnt until I posted it on here and on facebook that they got back to me with answers within a couple of hours. I had the RR commisioner and President both call within an hour of posting.
If $31000 is what is in the budget then I have my answer within 24 hours. I was also emailed an answer from someone that helps organise the desnations within about an hour of posting.
You gotta get with the times mate, if you want something done talk to me cause I get shit done hahahaha

Chopster U forgot to tweet that as well......., - there a lot more work than we all mite think behind what MNZ do, IMO for the amount of angles they have to cover & with the limited staffing levels they have, - they actually dont do to badly at all.

Its all good mate, theres more then one way to skin a cat plus just asking MNZ myself doesnt create any conversation. I support MNZ sending a team to the MXON. Its a development team this year but im just wondering if there are avenues for road racers to take like the aforementioned names....
Thats what these sites are for are they not?
I could go through any thread and pick it to pieces and say why do you go straight to the source and find out.
Im not taking a shot at MNZ in anyway.
