This thread needs a poll.
This thread needs a pole. In the arse. Two threads in a week, by two seperate new members, asking open ended questions on comparrisons between Qmoto leathers verses competitors. Something smells fishy, and it aint the fish.
Luckily for Quasi, all publicity is good publicity.

I can answer that.
Celtic Leathers and Sam offer an Excellent service and an Excellent product.
the Key things with Sams leathers are his excellent Stitching system and thick quality leather.
If I wasnt involved in the leather game I would wear Celtic also.
Great guy and great Gear.
As we work together Sam wont mind me saying that the main difference would be Qmoto can leather Print and can do a bit more Artwork and External Titaniums etc..........we can get more blingy if you want, but that doesnt make ours better , just different.
Either way you will get a good product which both of us guarantee
Cant go wrong either way

I bought Celtic as I needed or wanted custom fitting to ensure perfect fitting leathers and I got that from Sam at Celtic. Otherwise I would have bought Qmoto and on a number of occasions I tried on and was impressed with the quality of the product. If you have a normal profile body then Qmoto would be your first choice if not custom made by Celtic. If you want to see how some of the other brands are made then visit Sam and ask him to show you what he is repairing.

Why?
Celtic would easily be the equal of those and custom fitted is better than off the shelf anyday

personally, because I know nothing about celtic, and dont recall having ever actually seen them, so Id go firstly for what I know. as for fit, sometimes you do find that you are a perfect fit for a standard size, not always, but sometimes!
Nothing against celtic, just dont know bugger all about them. there are certain bonuses to buying cutom made, but also certain bonuses to buying off the shelf, from a shop/distributor that has a network if anythinggoes wrong etc. six of one, half dozen of the other I guess!

Re Sam and Celtic, I committed to using and selling 1 Tonne gear based on the FACT! that Sam inspected my leathers first as to the quality of the sticking and looked me in the eye and said
They are good and safe equiptment:yes: That is why I use them and sell them.

Shaun, do you use off the shelf 1-tonne stuff or have stuff custom made?

My race set are made of KANGAROO HIDE ( Unbelievably light and STRONG) and custom made to my size, which any one can have made through Nathan @ 1 Tonne- It was Kangaroo hide leathers I used when I raced the Britten.
My test pair are normall of the shelf leathers
Shaun Harris Motorcycles 742 Beach Rd Browns Bay will be stocking 1 Tonne off the shelf stock:woohoo: with Private fitting room to try gear on in and a mirror to make sure you still look Kool:eek5:

This is his new V3 Qmoto Suit, featuring the best stitching (next to celtic) and the best armour in the world KNOX, full custom print and leather work, even a nice NZ flag on the top of the hump
