Does anybody know of someone that can take my textile jacket in a bit? Maybe add a couple of vent zips?

Or will it cost more than a new jacket?

I think its not that much of a mission,
its a matter of unpicking the inside liner, BUT I think adding them will compromise the water proof membrane

Mainly would like it taken in a bit round the chest. It flaps around a lot at 100. Kinda feels like its trying to pull me off. :shit: Lol. If when they take it in they can add a couple of zips instead it would be less steamy on hot days.

Cant afford a new one so this could be a good option.

Your local GUN club can insert vents for free ...

Your choice of calibre vent size ... :shifty:

(wearing at the time of vent insertion not reccommended  )

Well I almost rode my bike through the garage tonight which would have added vents to it. Cat jumped from a tree on to the roof of the garage, scared the shit out of me and I dropped the clutch.

get some d loops and get some velcro put on the sides, so when you pull it tight through the loop on the sides it tightens the jacket

I'd be tempted to look at a new jacket, and sell the current one on Trade Me.

See what the price difference is.

lot of mucking around, I wouldnt go there. Will cost more than its worth. As post above says, sell it and buy what you want.

Ive decided to look for a new jacket, probably a leather one. A Shift octane is at the top of the list.

Probably the better option...
Have a look at the sleeve vent zips in my Revit jacket next time, they are so neat and tidy you cant really see them when they are closed.
....and they're on a leather part of the jacket.

I did and rode it on SASS tonight in the rain. Works great. Not flappy. Being new leather quite stiff but it will break in.

I had some money come in but for the next few weeks I cant afford to eat.

And get rid of the cat,, a saucer of antifreeze should do the job.
