bugger. had to bitch at the flatmates yesterday.
Went for a ride on the krappisaki looking for a service station that had a working air pump. Got back and couldnt get my bike in the garage. Its a double garage.
After 5 minutes of wrestling with bits and pieces finally got the bike in, but had to walk around the side of the house and go in via the back door because I couldnt get to the internal garage door.
The thing is - we have too many bikes :(
So - we had a bit of a move around and re-org and now there is space for two more bikes :)
There are 8 at the moment.

That's terrible TwoSeven, you have my deepest sympathy. Says she with five car garaging, that seems to be *just* big enough for three cars, six bikes and a workshop.
Sounds like you need to have parking bays painted on the floor!

Drool.... I thought having a double gargre was the peak of luxury

I gotsta agree, a five car garage would accomodate my projects nicely, I could leave the Falcon in there while I hack it up to become a two door, and still have enough room to work on the four bikes that are being worked on.
Sounds pretty close to heaven for me.

What other crap do you have in there? We have a two car garage also and I'd have to say that I could fit both a car and 8 bikes in it (along with some well placed stuff in there also). Hope the sort out helped improve the use of space...

No its not......... 1) aim bike in direction intended to go
2) clutch in select gear
3) open the taps till engine reaches max power
4) dump clutch....... bike will lunch sweetly up the stairs
5) find box collect all remaing pieces of the bike put in box and drag into selected room for storage easy peasy

There are 8 at the moment. That's quite a number. Are they all roadworthy and going? Would you care to list make & models? :ride: :ride: :ride: :ride: :ride: :ride: :ride: :ride:

:)
Most are roadworthy, but you can never tell with yamatards, su-suckies and krappisakies. Only the Hondas work reliably - even the ones without wheels on :)

Drool.... I thought having a double gargre was the peak of luxury
When we went looking for a house two years ago, we had modest ambitions of a true double garage (the rented house had a double but they'd put a shower and toilet at the rear of it so it was only a one and a half really), but this one certainly took my other half's eye - they mistakenly quoted it in the ad as six-car garaging AND a workshop - but it's a triple with workshop and a double internal-access - which still ain't too shabby! The guy who built the house owned vintage cars - there was an E-type Jag and an Alvis in there when we came to look at the house - plus his wife's 7-series BMW! I could see this would please the man and keep him quiet and happy, so considering the house was only three years old and came with rural views, three acres and a pond, I said we could buy it!
