This is my second bike. Bought it for two up riding, but haven't really used it enough to justify keeping it.
Mint condition, braided lines front and back, carbon hugger, 75% on tyres.
Mainly looking for swaps, boat, another bike, track car or bike...
Not in any hurry to sell, just keen for a different toy.

Nah, not the SP. I bought it cos these have been my dream bike since I was 16, but just don't use it bugger all. Want to tour the south island in summer with the mrs and this ain't the right bike for it, riding position too far forward.

My brother in law's moving back to NZ soon and I know he wants to get a ZX7R, I'll mention this to him. Great if he's interested, else good luck with the sale :)

^^Cheers, appreciate that!
Yeah, be a cool track bike, but it's too mint to drop around a track... not when you can buy a beaten old 600 that would do the trick. (IMO) I've seen race fairings on ebay for them, would be sick to see one at the track - can't say I've ever seen anyone rockin a 7R at the track!

Back in the 90's they were weppons. Especially the Muzzy kitted ones. I remember Simon Crafar or Anthony Gobbert or even Scott Russel kicking ass on them. It would be too nce to ruin, but I still reckon in the right hands it would be very capable bike on the track. And race fairings are plenty for these

Hey fellow bikers, need some advice from those of you who know your boats. I'm looking at a swap for the 7R for the following boat, and since I don't know a hell of a lot about boats I'd appreciate any advice about this boat and it's value. I've gone and had a look, the guy was a really good dude who looks to have taken good care of it - any help is appreciated.

It looks like a good boat at a fair price to me.

Boat looks like good value
Only advice is to get your nose under the floorboards...if you can smell 'mushrooms', avoid it.

Hmm, Deep Vee design. Very stable in rougher water. :)
I would also check the trailer and motor carefully, as well as wheel bearings and axles. If it has spent lots of time in salt water then there could be corrosion hiding.
There is a reason why you see so many boat trailers on the side of the road with snapped axles or wheels.
Also remember that it is only a 40hp motor, so mostly ideal for fishing etc. You won't be breaking speed records, well not if you intending to tow anything.

Cheers fullas, yeah I'm after something I can use for a bit of fishing, but also for towing a biscuit and hooning around the water a bit, so I reckon the 40hp might struggle to do that properly. While I'm a novice boatie, I realise that I ride a ZX10 so it wouldn't take too long before I wanted something with some grunt on the water.
Thanks for the advice, will keep hunting!!
