Had a grouse ride 'round the place yesterday with 2 Gixxer thou's K3, 1 Gixxer Six K3, a 99 and a 96 GSXR 7 fiddy, a TL Thousand shed. Only two pesky Hondas to spoil the party.

This here's Suzi country, where on a quiet day, you can hear the Yamahahahas clutchs slipping.

Whats with the Suzuki rantings? They are not the best and end of all bikes. Yea they are OK, but so are plenty of others.
I reckon the car is a Toyota Celica GT4 and why follow the rest of the flock with the gixxer addiction? Personally I'd rather have either a CBR or a ZXR, but thats just my opinion... :whocares:

SUZUKI USUALLY REPRESENT GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY, WHEN THE OTHER 3 HAD THEIR PREMIER SPORTS BIKE ROUND THE $22K MARK THE GSXR1000 WAS ALREADY $18K WITH A YOSHI , $4K IS A DECESION MAKER FOR SOME PEOPLE

Matt Mladin, Troy Corser, Yukio Kagayama, Ben Spies, John Reynolds and Andrew Stroud would probably disagree.

The real reason for the Suzuki rantings though? Is that there's allways one willing to bite and question the loyalty. And that's normally a Honda rider

Can't say I'm into biting and I don't really care what people ride. I agree with what winja said about the price though. Although I can now afford to be fussy, many cannot. I dont give a toss about the loyalty of Honda, I'm probably more loyal to other things, but I'll probably end up with a Honda never the less.

Actually, no. If you recall I had my heart set on a Ducati. Two Smoker convinced me to try an SV650 before making a decision, and then when I decided it was the bike for me, he suggested I contact White Trash and get a good deal. So thanks Two Smoker for showing me the light, and inadvertantly getting me together with the Trashman.

Not so sure about Jawas)
Jawas are evil, they kidnapped C3PO and R2D2 and sold them and they look creepy with their little glowing eyes and... :o oops, the motorbikes, sorry...

I have owned more Suzukis than any other make, first bike I rode was an RV90 when I was a kid (blatting across the paddocks and scaring myself shitless) and the first bike I bought for myself (dad bought the Yamaha RX125) was the TS125. GT125 and GT50, LS400, GSX250, rode my bro-in-law's GT550 and seriously considered buying one when I sold the CB550 (bought the LS instead because the Intruder 750 I was interested in got sold before I got the money together).

Not so much brand loyalty on my part - just what was available and affordable... I also seriously enjoyed my CB360, CB550, both the Yamahas (RX125 and RD350) and my Zundapp and Puch scooters.

I don't get into the "one brand is better than all others" scene - too limiting.

Yeah I'd buy another Suzuki - or a Honda or a Yamaha or pretty much anything if it suited my needs and my pocket.

Unlimited funds? I'd buy the following:

BMW R100CS, Honda CB360, some species of road/trail and something small and economical for commuting - spend the money to get the R100 and CB360 back into pristine condition.

Please can someone shed some light on the very scary pictures around the net I have recently seen and read about regarding the K5 1000 frame cracking. Also can someone please confirm where Suzuki bikes are manufactureered, as I hear different suggestions around the net. Last question why are Suzukis the biggest seller ? THE FRAMES CAN CRACK AFTER A CRASH , BIG DEAL WHEN YOU MAKE STRONGER FORKS AND TRIPLE CLAMPS SOMETHING HAS TO BE THE WEAKEST, IVE SEEN A PIC OF A ZX10 FRAME THAT CRACKED AFTER A WHEEL STAND . ALL ZX1O C1 FRONT WHEELS GOT REPLACED CAUSE 3 BROKE WHILE THE BIKES WERE BEING RODE NORMALLY, SOME ENTRY LEVEL SUZUKIS ARE MADE IN MALAYSIA AND THAILAND , BUT GSXRS ARE MADE IN JAPAN.
SUZUKI ARE THE BIGGEST SELLER FOR SOME YEARS FOR VARIOUS REASONS , EARLY 98 A POSTAL COMPANY BOUGHT ALL SUZUKI, 99 TR50 SUZUKI WAS VERY CHEAP AND COOL, THE TL1000S WAS A BARGAIN FOR YEARS, AND THOSE 50CC KIDS QUADS ARE A HUGE SELLER
