Hi all,
I just tried to order some leathers from House of Harley (in the US) through Amazon and they state they the items can not be shipped to the addresses selected.
I thnk there is some kind of ban on exporting HD gear.

Does anyone know how I can get Harley Davidson Leathers from the US?
I have priced them and they are about NZD$1000 cheaper when buying from the US compared to NZ. this includes US$106 postage.
Also, i have been shopping around for womans leather gear with armour and came up with the FXRG® Motorcycle Leather Jacket and Leather and Textile pants - they look awesome. Does anyone know of any thing good I can get locally - just for cruising and staying safe should things turn pear-shaped.
cheers

Apparently HD has stopped dealers selling outside their territory and that's even between states in the USA. Have bought a fair bit of parts off shore myself generally around 2/3rds the NZ price landed AND much much better service. I'll go after market from now on. Fucked if HD are going to make me pay silly prices.

Thanks for the reply David. Yes, the prices are ridiculous. I found some US companies listing on Ebay in aussie, so have emailed them. I will wait and see what they say. Fingers crossed. Otherwise i will go after market too. :-)

A lot of stuff you can buy from Amazon will not be exported - HD or not.
