Places to ride in Waikato?

Me and my dad are are fairly new to trail riding and have done a few rides around waikato, but we want to know about some more tracks around the waikato that are open every weekend or so.

I've been on a few on the MR Motorcycles family trail rides in the North Waikato and they are excellent.
Theres Thundercross park near Naike too, never been but it looks like fun.

Kimmys in Huntly,also closed at her moment. Dunno why,I was riding at on a farm at the end of McDonald Mine Rd on sunday and it was very dry,almost like summer - never saw any mud,and the swamps were dry too.

The MR Motorcycle rides are good from what I've heard- they do ones at Glen Murray, Naike and Whangarero. The bike track at Naike (Thundercross) is opening up again this month and is pretty decent from all accounts. There are also regular rides organised through Counties Honda- see their shop for upcoming events. There are several other events put on locally as fundraisers and done on private land- details for those ones will be in the Huntly and Pukekohe bike shops- or at least that is where I have seen them.
