How much would it cost to join, Also will it be in auckland or different area's at different times, every weekend or once a month, looks like a good skill to learn but yess would get a 2nd bike for the likes of this.

racefactory

Cost should be next to nothing I'd imagine. That's the whole point of these events.

I have a supermotard and have been waiting for folks to start getting together and start doing this for some time now. Come on, who has the balls to come kick start this together.

I have but suitable spaces are very hard to find out of the prying eye of the general public. I've had the local constabulary turning up thanks to unjust rubber necking. Has to be an organised group or you'll always just be seen as a nuisance- the public are very sensitive to motor vehicles moving about frantically.

Plus no one to race against...

Really decent clips below:

Oh... and don't worry if you've got nice shiny fairings, just fit a simple crash cage.

Do they use 250s mostly? I'd be willing to give that a go...

Does being asian help because they are smaller/lighter and have small hands (like good for picking kiwifruit)? LOL

Still, can't wait for LAMS to pick up a VTR250 or something like that cheap...

Certainly make them wobble around a lot more

Thought it'll make the centre of gravity lower, which is good, right?

Weight is a big psychological issue.... I was wizzing round on the wee DT a lot more confidently than on my portly TDM. Just about caught up on the big bike now as my technique improves. A long way to go (if ever) before I can ride like the pro's. Lots of mental hurdles to getting it right but awesome fun & a great way to develop skills.

The local Honda dealer has organised several of these in the hope it will catch on. I don't know if I'd put the triple in, maybe the SJ50?
