Why as a 4th generation NZ European living and working in South AK do I feel aggrieved that part of the tax taken from me goes to benefit those that would call me racist. You mean like in the mid 90's when we had a large influx of Chinese moving to NZ? Mostly buying properties in Howick and surrounding areas. They set up their own shops, restaurants, mechanic workshops, etc, spent the money they had, by immigration law, to bring to NZ within themselves, wouldn't learn how to speak English and generally not integrate with the existing society.

It is not only the employment issue with the illegal Mexicans (oops sorry Hispanics), they enter illegally and set up their own communities, won't learn how to communicate in English, work under the table and don't pay tax, have a bunch of kids that get that get welfare funded schooling that a lot of citizens children don't qualify for as they earn 'too much', the drugs, crime, and the fact that illegals can quite often get more welfare handouts than actual citizens and legal migrants from a system that they don't pay into.
As it happens, the amount of Mexicans going back to Mexico is on the increase as they can't find any jobs here.
