Speights_Bud had a great day. Ran in the Novices as it was his first outing on the track.
Speights_Bud had 3 wins and one second. Go the A100.
XhardXcoreX had a great day and rode with Speights_Bud in the 16 lap enduro.
Go you two and keep the KB stickers and shirt out for all to see. :Punk:

They have at least a couple of times that I know of - street circuit at Whakatane, long long long long time ago.

Yeah go me on the RD!!! Stupid 2 stroke thing didn't really want to go properly for a while. Would be revving it fine and then all of a sudden the needle would go down rapidly and nothing would happen when I turned the throttle. We took the air filter and the baffles out and it seemed to run better like that. But getting the revvs down way too low(3000) on the corners and the engine would die but seeing as I ride the clutch round most corners I let the clutch go and off I go with a mid-race crash start. It was my first racing experience, my first riding experience with others around, my first real road experience, first real 2-stroke experience so I think I did pretty well. Yay go me!!! :Punk:

Thinking maybe getting serious about bucketing and getting a CB125 or something simliar. Stuff the 2-stroke and get back on a 4. Maybe even a hodge-podge of things like a GSX frame with a CB145 engine, a Harley petrol tank and a car tyre as a seat  People who were their today will know what I am talking about(MSTRS, yungatart, speights_bud and Gixxer_4_ever)

Great day and can't wait till next time! Might get a bit more competitive seeing as I know the track and I will know the bike a lot better etc etc.

One is saying to the other..."Man I feel like an idiot. Why did we ever buy these?"
"Remember, our mummies told us that we weren't allowed to ride real bikes."
"Oh yeah that's right. Man I'm cool."

Hahaha MSTRS on the fiddy?  And yungatart on a pocket bike?

Yes that surface is similar to how I remember it, except when I was there 6 months or so ago it had been sealed with Chip a few days before &, well it was more like the Goldrush gravel climbs you see on telly. Stones kept pinging into your helmet & traction was, erm,. . . variable.

Don't be afraid to come over to Taumaruni or down to Welly for another track to play on guys.

Guess that’s why that Valentino chap stopped racing the 2 smoke & it wasn’t anything to do with politics or 2x cc dispensations after all.

Arrived at the track early which was good as it gave me a chance to check out which pot-holes I had to watch out for most :wait: . Track was a bit damp to start with but dried out as racing begun. The old A100 was running baffles throughout the first warm up run. They made it so gutless and smoky I removed them from then onwards. After two practice runs the first race was held. Was very enjoyable and interesting as it was the first time I've ever had a go at proper lines and passing on tarmac. Won the first race and was pretty damn stoked with that. Made a few adjustments to the bike (gear lever angles etc) before heading into race 2. Race 2 started out great but was passed on the second lap for the first time. Couldn’t catch him on the straights as he had way more power (145cc-4 stroke over my 100cc 2-smoke) ended up second in that one. 3rd race and I was rearing to go, finished 1st again (I'm pretty stoked by now) although the Xr 100 was giving me a hard time, but I had no intentions of letting him through. 4th and final race started. Me and the guy on the 145cc side by side at the line. Having more power he shot into the front, only to take the first corner too fast and sliding off (nothing major), braked heavily avoiding his ankles and moved at walking pace between him and the bike catching my boot between his rear tyre and the bike. Continued on but race was re-started. Re-started and made a clean run coming first again. Competed with XhardxcoreX in the 16 lap endurance as a team and were coming 3rd until it began raining and caused an off (rider ok just a sore knee). Stopped riding to give him a hand and called it a day.

Was absolutely stoked with how the day went and look forward to the next meeting :Punk: :ride: .
Cheers to XhardxcoreX, MSTRS, yungatart, and Gixxer_4_ever for being there and helping to make it all happen for me  :Punk:

hey! you taking the piss outa the "hillbilly deluxe"????
You know it was one ofthe fastest bikes out there! Next meet itll be even faster... Softening rear shock spring to avoid the stoppies i was doing and working engine even more! Roger wont stand a chance! By the way... The sporster tank may look strange on the 400 impulse frame but the seat is truck retread, not car tire! looks can be deceiving it would seem! Watch out... youre racing that bike next time when my fiancee starts racing novice class. Have fun and keep the shiny side up

I have no problems with the "hillbilly deluxe", in fact it inspired me to follow along its lines in building my next bucket  , big step up from my 2-smoke with drum brakes! I'm totally looking forward to being able to brake later etc. What im happy about is that the A100 is so reliable and doesn't perform half bad for what it is.
Should make for a competative next meet. see you there :ride:
