How is the sv in the twisties? I've heard it's quite a light bike so does it corner well? or is it not that easy to maneuver?

That really depends what your used to I guess.... They do handle well and feel light, front feels a bit vague to me but they are very comfy

Put linear fork springs and decent oil in them, and the front end doesn't feel TOO bad. They're a good bike.

Cant actually just biff them on,you need shims/spacers for calipers etc not to mention the forks sorted to suit not to mention pre radial calipers or not and lines to suit. That aside before looking at Gixxer forks i would get in touch with the likes of Robert Taylor and see what he can do with the oem forks. After buying a set of GSXR forks/radial calipers for my TL i dont mind admitting my annoyance at hearing what said bloke could have done with the oem TL ones.

+1 very wise words. Anyone know of a Robert Taylor like suspension tuner in Wellington?
