For sale is my beloved 2003 GS1200SS.
These are great bikes for New Zealand roads. They run a bandit air-cooled 1200cc engine that is bulletproof. It pulls strong from idle and can happily carry two people plus luggage around the north and south island. This bike has been well maintained and has low km's for the year.
The bike is completely stock and in excellent condition with the only marks being a small scratch on the exhaust and a bit of spotting on the perspex screen.
This is still restricted to 180km/h, as I never went anywhere near that speed.
Bike will come with a ventura pack rack that I have just put on.
The bike will also come with 3 more months of registration put on it when it is sold as it will expire in October.
The bike is lovely to ride and is quite light for a 1200. On the open road I have managed approximately 300-350km off the tank.
The bike has Pirelli Diablo Corsa tires front and rear with more than 3/4's of life left in them. Has only been run on Motul oil.
Bike has a lovely retro look to it which gains a lot of compliments, I have been asked numerous times how long it to restore the bike!
