Hey y'all! I'm back after 20yrs of tincanning it, yes the wife finally gave in, perserverance wins! Now too old and broken to race me RZ, so picked up a rusty CB175 to rebuild and go in whatever puttputt race i'm allowed to. Question is : Anybody got any parts for sale? Looking for the basics, frame, pistons, rings etc. The frame i have appears to be bent. Any links/direction for the aforementioned bits will get you on me list of fresh snapper to give to ( I fish approx.80 days of the summer and whenever fine in the winter, Cheers Craig.A:scooter:

Try Econohonda in Te Aroha or Buckets and Bits in Wgtn.
I would imagine most parts are similar to the CB200, CD 175, CL 175 etc , especially in motor parts. Cosmetic will be the real diff but it depends if you want a perfect bike or not.

Yeah, my first bike (back in '73) was a CB175. First bike I wrote off too, on Christmas Day 1975...

Seriously, best of luck finding anything for them in NZ.
I've got two CB200's, everything you need you will find on ebay, and usually at very fair prices ($10 for a cam chain...). A lot of NOS parts out of Thailand, and remanufactured bits too.

um, just picking up on the race bit. erm a CB175 will likely get run over in post classics.
Resto is a neat thing, but I'd look at making a roadbike.
If you want to race something a bit slower that full ccts then look in the Buckets section. Cheapo racing on kart tracks. Pick up an FXR150 wreck & off you go for less than a grand. & less expensive to race at Mt wgtn than anywhere else.
info here for bike classes:

Or move to the US! They have a dedicated CB160 class ala buckets here, I think they allow other small CB twins in too.

There have been and are Cb and CD 175's in tardme at times, saw at least 3 there a short while ago. Great wee bike, I'm also one who has fond memories of what I consider the best learner bike made.
