Don't recall seeing one last time I was there a couple of years ago but a trap at 1/8 mile, would make it interesting for the motards and nekid machines.

Yeah, how long does it take a 450 to get to max speed, even with gearing changes they'd be there way, way before 1/4 mile.

Or an 1125CR for that matter...

Haha, I don't think Mr Trash was talking to us when he typed that....I reckon he was more thinking aloud as he was eying up the shop demo. Gonna sort out some new "verified top speed" promotional material Jimmy?

Bump !!

If anyone is able to assist with marshalling please let me know.

Free lunch and you get to see bikes at top speed a few feet away.

Awesome.

The aim is to kick off at 9.00am, so if you can make it by 8.30am that would be smashing !!

The marshals get a quick breifing then deploy to their position.

The riders get a briefing and then its all on.

Bring sun screen, fluids and a hat, or some shade.

I am sure the results will be posted up on http://www.cliffhanger.org.nz/ at some stage. It was a great day with a good number of entries (40+). Big thanks to the Cliffhanger crew and all associated with the running of this event - we are very lucky to have people like who you put in the time and effort to make this happen.

I had a mate there that was taking some pics, not sure what he's got but hopefully in the next couple of days I'll catch up with him and grab them. I'll chuck them in an album on KB hopefully later in the week.

Deano...itching to see the results...any idea when they'll be online?

Oh...and to the Cliffhanger crew....PRIMO day - thanks for putting it on!!

Yeah it does...just grab the embedding code from the YouTube page. Click on Share, then Embed. It'll give you some code that looks like this: (iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/lE6Ixb5rOeo" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen>

Just copy and paste that straight in to the message box on KB.

So what happed to all the go fast Busa's then?

Deano
24th November 2011, 13:20
Dion did 304kph.

The fastest Busa was 296kph from memory.

Apparently the memory stick with the results became corrupted, but the hard copies should have been able to be scanned and uploaded by now
