ok Im the biggest "ya get what you pay for" advocate however Im thinking about these as $299 a set how bad can they be for an option for a tyre munching R1

Shinkos I always thought where poo that was until I rode with 6 mates who ALL had them and they trackday them and ride hard on them and they all love them

so whats with these EDGE tyres ??

anyone know about them

Im thinking a potential trackday tyre

this is the only thread I could find where someone had actually used them...doesn't look good.

I found one very unhappy harley guy too, and another with a XT660 that was equally unhappy. No-one saying good things tho...

They look like they'd handle like Shinko's... You try em tho Q and tell us what you think... I'll stick to paying good money for piece of mind.

For an extra hundy you get can get a new set of Bridgestone 016's. No brainer for me until I see MotoGP switching to IRC as a control tyre.

Supply and demand. The specials are on the 180's because I don't think they move out the door as fast as a 190. I'm probably wrong again.

Thats a mad price, I am running these on my blade already but have chewed through the back tyre, Keen for a new set as I really liked the tyre - there is no chance you have a 16" 130 wide front for the fireblade? probably not a tyre you get over stocked on.

Good prices YES. Mad? NO.

Realistic for bulk deals IMO and a credit to WT for doing so.

$600 or more for a set of tyres in NZ is absolutely stupid money and anyone paying that should have e-mailed around the country first.

Though one pair lasts a few meetings..

Hi matey, sorry I missed this post.

We are a Bridgestone stockist so will most probably have something in stock or available overnight.

Give the parts guys a call or email and they'll sort you out quick smart.
