Up for sale is my beloved SV1000S.
-Recent service
-Near new chain and sprockets
-Tyres approx 90%
-Yoshimura twin pipes (Sound amazing)
-Rego on hold
These are one of the most underrated do-anything bikes on the market. It is a very capable sports bike that is fun through the corners, has immense torque from the big V-twin and can tour with two people all day long.
Unfortunately this bike hasn't seen much use this year and is just sitting in the corner of the garage on the trickle charger and getting cleaned and turned over occasionally.
I rode many bikes including a Z1000 CB900 Hornet and VTR1000 before deciding on getting this one. It is truly a great do anything bike that puts a smile on your face.
It has some minor damage from a very low speed drop on gravel which includes some slight scratching to the left front corner and mirror and a minor ripple on one of the pipes as pictured. Having said that, it would be hard to fault apart from these minor cosmetic issues and could be easily repaired if you are a perfectionist.
Bike is located in Mt Wellington and you are welcome to come and view. Test rides will be given to serious buyers if I have the cash in hand. The bike rides and goes exceptionally well.
