Mate - there are ZXR250's for sale for 4995 in Christchurch.
And only a stupid dealer will refuse a serious cash offer of 5000 for a decent ZXR/CBR in Auckland.

problem is i dont have 5000
and christchurch
thats far
no way i could get to see it and not just gonna buy a bike from a picture
on the other hand a mini chopper costs like 900-1200 ish for a nice one:D
then when i can get my full i can get a nice bike at the same price as a 1989 zxr :D:D

and where are you going to ride this mini chopper?
They arent road legal at all.
You cant ride them on the roads.
You have only just got your license.... dont rush to get something fast to ride until you get more experience out on the roads.
Stick with the gn250 for a while longer.

you can get choppers registered, as long as they have indicators and a mirror, and are 49cc:D

well mate good luck...
But to me they are flaming dangerous...
One went past me the other day... and they are so low to the ground that most people never saw the bike. Now that is so scarey.
How on earth is a truck driver gonna see you.?
So I guess you wont be going on any long bike rides on it then...?

yep... I agree those choppers are dangrous too... cause can't don't know what to think of you... and you can't get out of harm's way quickly enough.... "sitting duck" great for a carpark or something... but not for the road. Just think about if you it a pot hole with that little wheel....

Wait a sec, I'm assuming an SR250 is pretty similiar to a GN250. My GN250 will quite happily sit at 110km/h. And you want something that goes faster? Why?
Where are you going to go faster.
You're not going to get around Auckland any quicker. And the difference between doing 100km @ 110km/h and 120km/h is only 5 minutes. Plus I'd put a hell of a lot more confidence in my brakes than those of a mini chopper.

ive actuallt seen little mini choppers with 110cc engines. slightly bigger than the 49cc but a hell of a lot more fun. :ride:
but hell no. keep them off the road they are to small. cages drivers would not see ya. not to mention bloody big trucks. you would stand out like a pimple on a rhino.
just be careful out there.
