View Full Version : Are my Pazzos fake?

I bought a pair of Pazzo's off Trademe recently and began to wonder if they are fake for two reasons: they fit badly, lots of wobble and niether of them have Pazzo written on them. I think the brake lever should have it written on it but not the clutch !

Certainly look like rubbish to me.

Yeh I wouldn't think real Pazzo stuff would leave the machining marks in them still.

Yeh I wouldn't think real Pazzo stuff would leave the machining marks in them still.Of course they do, that's how much of a design rip off these are. Ok the cutter pattern is a little more distinctive, but yeah...

Huh, I stand corrected, and they look fucking ugly on both genuine and the rip off articles. 3D machining marks look good I reckon, but leaving the face milling marks on there just looks un-refined imo.

If he is asking if his "pazzos" are fake, I'm guessing he thought he was buying "real ones" and paid the "real" price of $299.

did the auction say they were pazzos?

Here is the auction description:

" These are near new geniune Pazzo short levers for Yamaha R6. They are in exceptional condition. "

I didnt pay new price, I paid $150. I thought was a bargain for 'real' Pazzos. The photo does make them look shitty, but they are mint in real life.

If there is a difinitive way of prooving they are fake, ill get my money back.

I ordered some Levers from a seller on Trademe,
I was told it would take 2 weeks to get the ones I wanted,
(weird I thought)
So I said ok, hit buy now like instructed but refused to pay until they had arrived,
I brought a set of ebay levers the same day for $25,
My levers arrived at my door step the same day the seller told me they had arrived on his, so I asked for photos and what have you,
And they looked identical to the ones I had in-front of me, also, I think the real deal Pazzo's come in a Pazzo box?

Iv'e just gone right through their feedbacks on Trademe and saw he bought these levers from BS Racing last december. He has now palmed these off to me as original Pazzo's. Im really pissed.

So you wanted two sets of levers...or had no intention of buying the TM ones you bid on?

I had gone through the whole experience when getting my shorties. I was ready to order the Pazzos from the Canadian website and thought I try on Ebay. Found a pair of GP Titax shortys that were last of stock and got them for $120USD inc delivery to NZ. They were originally $220 plus freight. Very happy with them, and they have Titax on them as well.

This one is a bit of a low. Even if we give the seller the benefit of doubt, he should still come to the party especially if you can prove they are not genuine. It will be easy to prove. Just go to Pazzo website and download some pics of the genuine Pazzo ones and show him. If he is genuine, then he will refund your money. If not then really the only thing you can do is to take him to small claims court.

Not Pazzos. You can get them here. www.the2wheels.com

I've had a set and they appear to be of good quality. Crazy price and I suspect they are a identical copy of the Pazzos. Pazzos have their name engraved on them and come in a spiffy box.

Recently I indulged myself with a set of CRG levers for the Hornet as I got a good price from a US dealer. They are like sex on your bars

These are the same as the $25USD ones I bought off Ebay. Had them on my Bandit 1250 for the last 11 months and they are good quality, out in all weathers, no wear and I am happy with them. I bought both the shorty and the long set (sold the shorties to a mate).

Check the pic. You were most certainly ripped.

That is the real deal.

Pazzo just make the most expensive rip offs. If you've got that much cash why not buy the real thing?
