Don't think I'd cross the road to see Indy. But just over 2 weeks to see the Dutch, German and Italian looks like it's me.

I wanna go to Indy for the Mile on Sat night more than the GP though.

I reckon being there the other year when King Kenny got the TZ700 out would've been extra oarsum.

What happened to Texas? I thought it was going to be on there for 2012?

Hey if you guys are going to go all the way for some motorcycling action, consider flying into San Fran or LA and renting a bike.... the only thing is that you have to rent well in advance. I don't know how things are these days, but when I was down at Laguna back when Hayden won his first race, you COULD NOT find a hotel.... so just be careful with that. Maybe with the recession and all it is a little easier now. Also, it will be HOTTER than snot at both places that time of the year...... don't let Laguna fool you.... it will be cool in the mornings in Monterey and nice during the day, but when you pass those gates and start going up the hill and over it... the temp JUMPS.

Oh and if you are planning to ride from Cali to Indi, don't.... BORING as hell past Colorado.

2013 for Texas mate. I went to Laguna in 07, was awesome. Harley-Davidson leant me an XB12SS for near on a month. Rode it from LA to Las Vegas...then through Mammoth Lakes and Yosemite to San Fran. Back and forth to the GP each day from a mates place in San Jose...then bacl to LA down the Pacific Coast Highway.

You're right about the temps. Hot as all fuck ridng to Las Vegas!

Can't wait to go back and do/see more.

OK now I'm jealous! I forgot you sell Harleys right? But.... you sell Suzukis too, no? Maybe ask Suzuki for a Motard this time... just don't tour on it. :D Mind you a Buell would have been just about perfect.

If you were in San Jose, I hope you did Mines Road between San Jose and Livermore past Mount Hamilton observatory. Wicked ride and there is a really neat roadhouse that is often full of bikes.

Yeah we're Suzuki as well. The SS was awesome, especially as on the way home from the GP as it was quite 'spirited'.

That road...is it the one that runs up to Alice's at the Skyline?

No, Skyline to Alices is different, very nice too and you have some cool roads going on and off PCH1. This one is inland. It is a heck of a nice ride, perfect for a Motard... or a Buell for that matter. I was 2 up on a R1100R when I did it and it was awesome on that too despite it being a heavy bike.

What I find interesting iss that they've scheduled Japan for around the same time as this and last year, rather than March as per previous years.

Guess they've figured out they can't fight Mother Nature and it could be better jusst to go with what she's saying and book it in for October.
