Assuming you're sitting by said door, and he's flipping out for whatever reason (gotta be an acid flashback )

Meh temporarily restrain or incapacitate him if you can. I'm surprised he was tied up using seat belts, I thought that most aircraft kept heavy duty restraining cable ties in the cabin for times such as these.

Ragheads around the world are facepalming saying "why don't we just open the doors".

There's no way the freak would be able to open the door mid flight anyway...but I'd still wanna stab him in the side of the head with a fork for his troubles.

Like it says in the article it can't be done due to cabin pressure (jet aircraft) but a mate of mine was flying unpressureised twin engined planes in New Guinea and had an engine failure once. Several locals tried to jump out of the thing thinking it would be safer than staying in a "doomed" aircraft. Luckily, the crew calmed them down and it landed safely too.

To be fair it does reinforce the dangers of taking mind altering drugs before boarding a flight. Not a pleasant experience (i would imagine )

Na the drugs aren't the problem, he's just a crazy person.
I had some herbals (altitude) one time before I went skydiving from 15,000 feet.
Was a wicked flight up to the needed height. But as soon as I got by the door ready to jump, I was as straight as an arrow. Bloody waste if ya ask me.

Fairly average behaviour for Geordies, I'm from Newcastle....
Makes a change from jumping out of the back window of a double decker bus for a laugh.

I would stab him with the large metal pen I carry! You see the pen is mightier than the box cutter.
