Old fuel tank clean up and paint?

Ive got an old tank thats not dented like my one. But its been rattle canned matt black and needs a clean out inside.

Would I be best to get it acid dipped? Sand blasted?

I may get the seams on it welded at the same time to make sure theres no leaks.

Probably the better treatment for the inside would be a Por 15 kit...:yes:
