Maybe you have seen these things maybe not but bought a set back from over the ditch, they actually do work (see promotinal clip) and dont look to bad fitted if you go for coloured ones, the guy started out making clear ones as rim protectors but then came up with coloured and though probably a like or not thing i reckon they look okhttp://www.google.co.nz/url?sa=t&source=web&cd=1&sqi=2&ved=0CBkQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.rimskins.com%2F&ei=chp3TunpJMPomAXozOHhDA&usg=AFQjCNEXuNN9wt8Qp-fEAfXIqGkiO1zTTQ.

If you learnt to drive and park properly you wouldn't need them

If they can stop dopey fucktards T-boning my wheel and gouging the centre of the rim, all the way to cutting the sidewall of the tyre, I'm interested!
I wonder if they also work on bodywork?

Fooken stupid car driver's out there...:yes:

What is the appeal of having your car 1/2" off the ground?

Same as having a tinted screen, or tiny led indicators, or rim tape on your bike ?

I've seen these before, they do work, to a point.
But careful parking works better...

Goes without saying really but from time to time shit happens eh,ive seen a clip of when they fitted a set to a Commodore drove along brushing wheels up against the kerb with barely any damage to the Rimskin and after peeling it off no damage at all to the rim.In the case of painted rims like those i have they make even more sense as any kerb damage looks worse

Just curious. Sure sometimes it looks nice, but after you see so many people going epicly slow over the smallest speed bump and munching up their body kit on the driveway it kinda seems a bit funny

Good idea I think. And I like the red on your wheels - are they 18's or 19's? Sweet

I also liked the hint of boob in the RimSkins video.

I go slow-as over speed-bumps even though my F100 ain't 1/2" off the ground (but not a whole lot more).

"Cos I don't have a stick-on body-kit, it IS the actual body/running-boards that would hit the ground.

So 'epicly slow' it is for me with some speed-bumps.

Hmm, I suspect some of my vehicles are in the 'unsuitable' type catagory but I've just bought something with more modern rims that may benefit from them...colour-coded too maybe...

Fair enough, if the car is built like that then what can you do.

Thank God my landcrab was way off the ground!

Suppose it would be,thing is its not sitting 1/2 inch off the ground at all, dont have to go epicly slowly over anything nor munch up the bodykit on any driveway.
