Anyone any experience of dealing with them? I rang about this little number: http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/motorbikes/motorbikes/sports/auction-408627822.htm It seems very reasonably priced.
I spoke to Heath down there and he seems like a very straight bloke. They do all the bits and pieces I'll need to get going and he'll even stick a few months rego on it too.

I do all my Arai helmet stuff there. Kat, who is the "helmet tech" (not that fucking helmet you grubby bastards!) knows her stuff and is very helpful. Even when dealing with an ancient fossil like me...

Recommended bike shop. Heath's the owner and a nice guy and Kat's a crack up. You certainly pay top dollar there but the service is among the best around.

That bad, eh?
I'm waiting for Heath to email me back with a price for the bike and the few bits of gear I need as a package. If the money works, I think I'll have it.
/cheeky mode/ So errr.. anyone nearby willing to have a gander on my behalf? There's a can of warm beer in it for ya

A buy me bikes from them, and get them serviced there (Triumph dealer) but everything else I go across the road (Boyds). I've had good service from them but I've actually had better service from Boyds and get better deals. I also like a good range of products (and I'm a Shoei man). So that means I go across the road as well.
But put it this way, I used to hate them. But I got great service in their service dept and started chatting with the others and started liking them. Now I give them a go when I'm looking for something instead of avoiding them.

Got my reply from Heath...
we have no service history of the bike at all, the first I saw it was when I traded it. The last owner had it for 5 years, but as we are not a Honda agent, he did not get it serviced here.
The motor runs well and starts well. The rear tyre is good but the workshop has said the front tyre needs replacing before it is sold. The bikes we sell get a new 6 month wof and we put 3 months rego on the bike. We put a 1 month warranty on bikes of this age.
If you go to www.dold.co.nz you will see the pack rack system that I am talking about, the L-brackets for this bike is $162.60 and the loop is $88.50. The helmet that we sell a lot of is the Givi and the are $399. there are a lot of different helmets and it really depends on what fits best. See if this is what you are wanting. Thanks for the call.
I'm really feeling like this could be the deal for me, alright. It's definitely got a lot going for it with a new WOF plus the fact it has any warranty at all.
I've asked him to keep it for a couple of days.
So how bout that can of beer, sil3nt?

You have to remember that any dealer is obliged by law to sell a bike with a WOF. As far as I remember WOF can not be more then 2 weeks old. Most dealers will also put between 3-6 mnths rego on used bikes and they all give min 30days to 3 mnths warranty on the bikes they sell. So unless the bike is really cheap the deal is no better then you would get anywhere else

What everyone else says. Bought my Triple from them. All of them are as straight as they come and really on their game. Kat is an absolute gem. I'll be there for my service in a couple of weeks.

Make sure you don't get charged for that front tyre.
Looks like a sweet deal though!

first went into Hamilton Motorcycles in Jan 1988. This is when they were in London Street. The service was great. 23 1/2 years later and I am still taking my bike their. The staff have all changed except Kath B and the service is still great.
Congradulations guys no one has bagged you and nothing but positive comments. You deserve it.
and I have a view. You pay for what ya get. You want good service you pay for it, that is worth the small xtra cost ya pay is worth.
