I was thinking the same thing the other day I guess they are in sheds
The bike riders that had those bikes are probably sprogged up now I guess and keeping them in the sheds as a project or to relive there youth.
There youth that is without as much sex and pimples and with larger bellies and smaller testes. That My 3 cents for what its worth =2/3 rds of f all.

Now if I didn't have a wife, 2 kids and big mortgage and money-hungry Moto Guzzi,...I'd consider buying this as a play bike. Looks like good value.

Thats fighting talk (but I'm not sure how much fight my richly jetted 28 has got)

If the competition is a nn MC28, then it's not really fighting talk, more of a snigger really.

Plugs got good spark, so all the electrics are ok kill switch obviously working theres some green goop coming out the exhaust outlet kicks over well good compresion, smells likes gas when i fill it up and get this burning sensation in my gumboots eh not sure whats goin on there but yeah turn the fuel tap and nothing just wont fire!

reverse cyl tzrs are where its really at (seriously, they are wicked!)Yeah, no key here either; it's an RFID trigger so you just need to swipe a hand over the bike to turn it on. MagTeks yeah? A friend with an SP has a set... any idea who can properly repaint them in NZ?

I'd love a TZ, but I don't think I've the patience or knowledge to properly set it up... given that, I'd probably not get much more enjoyment from one. I do however have some TZ carbs on the RGV; I expect that'll be as close as I get  TZRs are nice lookers, but there seems to be more parts/knowledge around for NSRs and RGVs. Wouldn't say know to a Marlboro one though.

I thought it was only the TZR 3XV that you could swap bits with the TZ

it might be, thats the one where I know you can

we need a tzr expert? there must be one somewhere

I knwo a guy who had a reverse cylinder TZR, the equivalent TZ bits didn't fit that one

I've seen a road going 3XV that had TZ top end on it on a USA website, but you're looking full topend rebuilds at 500-600km
