Hi
Got some new tyres fitted on the weekend. When he took the front wheel off, he found that the speed sensor rotor had broken. Now I have no speedo! Suzuki NZ will only sell the complete speed sensor unit for some hundreds of dollars. I did some research on the web and it looks like you can buy the rotor separately in the UK and US, so I'm wondering if anyone has sourced one of these rotors directly from overseas.
Cheers

Get your Suzuki dealer to order the following part #:
34983-21EOO
That is just the rotor, not the whole assembly.
Should be available.

Thanks for the link. I checked it out and they do indeed ship to NZ, but the UPS freight charge is $110! However, if I can't get the rotor any other way, I may be able to get it shipped to someone in the US who can then mail it on to me.

Hi
Thanks for the part number. Just to confirm, does it end in "zero zero" or "oh oh"?
******
Actually, I just rang the Suzuki dealer on the off chance that it was "oh oh" and they found the part and have ordered one for me! $44. So much better than what they quoted for the whole unit, and so much easier than getting one in from overseas. Thank you so much for your help. Must ask the dealer why they couldn't come up with this part number!

No worries, Dave.
You know why most of them can't find it? They can't be fucked looking!
