Hey anyone know any basic tuning on RG50's I mean the big stuff is going to have to be done pro but I need a few things I can do in the garage. Can you mount a flat side carb on and what about motox throttles. The rules say no compotition or Moto X parts aloud. But other than that what can I do

The competition bits aren't allowed IN the motor. Check the rules though as even there some things are OK, pistons for instance.
What do you have in your garage? Lathe? can of devcon? files? oxy acetylene? beer fridge?
Doing basic stuff will still require some careful measuring. Depending on what you are doing some way of measuring the combustion chamber volume is useful and a degree wheel is also useful.
A bigger carb helps especially in conjunction with a good pipe, I used a 24mm carb and it worked well after I devconned up the cutaway on the slide a bit. F5 would be more help than me.

Here's some help, probably the most useful you will get until you understand what you are achieving.
Buy Graham Bells 2 stroke tuning book. You’ll find it online or order from Whitcouls. This will teach you more than some idle tidbits from someone on the internerd.
I was given this advice many years ago & ignored it, didn’t want to spend the $ on a book. When I did it really helped me understand what was required.
Study the rule book.
Pay attention at school. Esp math. Useful doing calculations for tuning.
. . .Oh & English while you are there.
Allowed vs. aloud. Homework: Use in a sentence. Some punctuation practise would be good.
