Where and how much around Auckland?

Was asked a while back but everone kept going on about CBTA, I asked at the AA about these course but they couldn't tell me who to go see, and the phone book doesn't give feedback on different places.

ps I have done defensive driving before, but cant use again as you can only use the course for each license(ie either 1 or 6) so I have to do it again, yet school C, Bursary and BE which are far harder you have them for life, LTSA at it brilliance again!

Lemme know what you find. I've been too busy recently to hunt out a course. Would prefer not to do defensive driving again because it was so damn boring! But if I have too...

Cheapest defensive course $135 stated above
license test $40, again if you don't pass.
LTSA charges$40
=$215
+ for me I don't have access to a 250cc bike $50
= $265

CBTA $285
LTSA charges $40.
= $325
definate pass unless your a complete dunse. And it's all concentrated on motorbikes, everything is relevent.
Take form into LTSA and wait for your temp license.

I think I have this right, anyone let me know if there are any holes.

Aparently it is only avalible from some instructors.
RoadSafe (Wellington) (http://www.roadsafe.co.nz/courselist/courselist.htm)

The land transport safety authority (LTSA) and the Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) are starting an initiative for new riders of motorcycles that looks at a different approach to driver licensing. This scheme is called Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBTA). This initiative is for a limited period and is restricted to approved riding instructors.
