I may be getting carried away here because it doesnt even make sense really but this pisses me off! Enough to stop and take a photo and start a thread anyway.

Sign out at Pukekawa on the straight heading south before Milebush road (which leads to Mercer). Great riding out there btw.

Went up about two weeks ago and i thought to myself u know what, thats actually a good sign ( they always have motorbike relevant signs there much like this and they're usually actually quite good signs/reminders) but saw this on the weekend, some muppet thought he would be neat and modify it and obviously only put thought into the first two words. And yes they were so smart they managed to amoung themselves draw a picture of some balls.

E the drug, or E the character from Entourage, or E the Vowel?

Makes a world of difference

Yep, rode past that sign this afternoon.

I understand the first line "I *homo* killed riders. The second line makes no sense to me though. Any idea what the dipshit was on about? "Owing to ACT", some sort of political statement?

And yeah, the signs are good. There's some other good ones out on the way to the Manukau heads too.

If anything it makes the sign more effective. Gets you thinking about it longer.

...supposedly, in the somewhat near future, inland dwelling people wont have as far to go to the beach...the temperature will be more suited to riding and we will all have jobs working for wealthy investors from offshore who took advantage of an opportune time to buy a small country because nobody was actually looking at the time...your honour....

On a similar note (but actually quite funny I thought), I remember passing this modified sign "Feeling tired? take a _ _ e_ _"

There used to be a large road safety sign along Evans Bay Road in Wellington, about 6' x 8' and planted next to the road in the shade of some Pohutukawa trees. It was also right before a pedestrian crossing

I am sure that the vandal's mummy is very proud of her little angel.

We spent a bit of time in Europe recently, saw very few signs of graffiti outside of the crappy areas of Paris and London and I can't recall any vandalism of signage or public facilities outside of the UK.

Respect for our country and it's resources is very low among many of our fellow countrymen.

So yes, it also pisses me off a bit.

Got the train from Brisbane airport into town. Was amazed at the lack of graffitti. Then I say a huge tag "NZ Maori Boyz".

Once, when someone snuck out at night with a black spraycan it was to make some intelligent and often humourus social comment.A couple that stick in my mind from many years ago.....Rob Muldoon..before he robs you...and....Jesus saves..but Winton Roofer scores on the rebound...nowdays its just scribble and badly drawn cocks.Kind of a social comment in itself I supose.
