I really love this American parody of the Nobel Prizes which gives ten unusual or trivial achievements in scientific research every year. I was able to read an article related to this topic please allow me to share it here. A service was held at Harvard University's Sanders Theatre Thursday honoring the 2011 Ig Nobel Award winners. The prize honors the years' silliest in improbable scientific research. This year the awards went to such diverse research as why discus throwers get dizzy and why a certain beetle makes love to a beer bottle.
