For some reason the pic was turned... I might have to repost it unless you can turn you head on its side...

Doberman??

Rare Blue Doberman, they're going to breed her but have to get special permission. She's only 18mths old yet, and she's such a big baby! She's two dogs in one, really, with family and friends she's a wuss and needs lots of cuddles, but on duty, she's already proved her worth. She's 40kg already and I sure wouldn't want to try sneaking in to my daughter and son-in-law's place at night...

We had a BBQ last night and had the three dogs here, they've got two, Candy the Doberman and Chino the Pappillion, and my other daughter has a Maltese called Mitzie. The three love each other to death and get on really well, but wear each other out, which is actually a good thing. Wee Mitzie, being the littlest tires out first.

They are reasonably okay, and dash in and out of the back ranch slider. Chino leaps up and over and under the furniture while Candy has to run around. Mitzie tries to keep up but is rather outclassed.

The game is to see who can steal the plastic water bowl and keep it the longest. Naturally the bowl winds up in pieces all over the place, as did the new tennis ball I gave to Mitzie earlier to play with.

Candy is such a klutz! She's all legs and feet still, and canons into everything trying to keep up with Chino who's just an incredible energizer bunny! Chino is a wee bit bigger than Mitzie and he's the top dog as he's the oldest and been with Jen and Rudy the longest. If Candy gets out of hand he can be very ferocious with her and she surrenders even though she's six times his size.

When they are playing and Candy wants to cheat, she just lays a paw on top of him and he can't move... LOL!!!

Dogs to me, are like the Grandchildren. Love to see them and play with them but by the time they go home, I'm exhausted!

We have a cat, a huge black and white called Gizmo. He's my wife's cat and he's a real mummy's boy. He weighs about 6.5kg and when visitors see him they can't believe how big he is!

I know there are bigger domestic cats, but he's just a "normal" moggy.

He disappears when all three dogs arrive here. Candy is just too big for him to handle, and they are so noisy and boisterous he just wants peace and quiet - but the other two tread lightly around him as he's bigger than both of them.

That's a BIG cat ... We used to have 3 cats and 4 dogs... the cats knew their place and they never played together... however, the cats paws could fit between the side of the unit and the fridge door... the cats ate the bacon and the dogs cleaned the rest out. The dogs were big enough to open the larder door... lower shelves for dogs and upper shelves for cats. More often than not there was some form of meat defrosting in the larder and there was hell to pay and some serious tidying up to do, by the last person to go to bed, if the latch at the top of the door hadn't been latched for the night... We ended up having to latch the fridge too.

I used to love sitting with the dogs. Lying on the couch watching a movie and they'd come in and engulf you in a fur blanket. I gotta move outta the burbs...
