If things go as planned My wife and I should be in Auckland around Feb 2012 for 1.5 to 3 years.
My wife is doing a post graduate course and I hope to get some international work experience and do some riding on the weekends.
I hope to gain full time employment in a motorcycle workshop/dealership/touring outfit(job designation is not of primary importance) due to the fact that it would be valid work experience as I have about 10 years of experience in the field, more than 7 running my own workshop and roughly 13 years of touring experience.
What is the industry like in NZ? are bike shops primarily driven by paper qualifications or would valid experience and the fact that I am an excelent mechanic who can do a variety of jobs be good enough to land a job?
