No other agency? The spy agencies will want it too. But I understand your concern, the way the article reads it implies the IRD, WINS, CYF etc could also use it. Luckily, or not, it only has a limited life of 6 months.

Honestly, not even the spy agencies should have such powers... and they have powers to do just about everything else anyway don't they? Vague memory of some Bill passed earlier in the year for SIS to be able to do, well anything... could be wrong though. 6 months is a long time... be interesting to see who they're tracking that they needed to get the cameras back on so badly. Fucking hate this cloak and dagger shit... they should stream the bastards online instead, it'd probably be just as effective at shutting them down
