Certainly seems to be, especially with BT confirmed. Although I'm keeping all 12 fingers crossed he doesn't have his usual pre-race injury issues...

Would love to see Ken Roczen at this though, he is going to be the next big thing in MX without doubt.

I've always disliked Reed, generally for his typical Aussie complete lack of sportsmanship and gratitude, but with the amazing success of twotwo, his current form and the fact he will put his family first like this... it's getting hard for me to continue disliking him...

Justin Barcia is racing too. He's one guy who could upset everyone.

no reed, dungey, stewart or canard it really should be a RV benefit, but 3 10 lap mains might see someone take one moto away from him,
(to win the million $$'s you must win all 3 mains, if that is not done it pays $100k to the top points)

track looks pretty cool, the Vegas dirt is always very hardpack tho so it may get one lined,

It Will be cool to see BT race in the states again,

Its a bit dissapointing many of the big names have pulled out. How could you miss an oppertunity to ride that sick track.

the guys know winning all 3 is going to be pretty hard to do, so the million is not really something to plan for,

Reed needed time off, the travel they do for the 29 races he has done so far would get to you,

Dungey has a new bike to sort out, and will not want to show up not ready and get his butt handed to him,

Stewart does not have a team yet, and MX at this level is not the place you can turn up with a bike on the back of a ute, suspension guys, fuel injection guys plus a mechanic, team manager etc do not just turn up,

Yea i understand all that. Stewart has been away for so long he will need to start back in the lights class.

Why would Stewart need to start over? He raced the 2011 SX, then got injured, and he doesnt race outdoors. Its not as long as BT has been out of the states.

I to disliked him for the same reason, but i cannot deny the man can ride a bike, my opinion of him, has change alot.

Be bloody hard to win all three races, there's still some pretty talented and fast riders in there.

read somewhere BT may try get a ride for 2012 outdoor, well check things out while he's over there anyway.

I was taking the piss, he tried to ride outdoors did one race and hasn't returned..... He got smoked in that race. Maybe he had no full ride for the outdoors or maybe he just doesn't like getting beaten by that much and went back to train. Still has no ride for next season.

Am A huge Reed fan always have been he has started from nothing and took a gamble going to Europe when he was young and it paid off.
Hes arrogant because he has earnt it,And knew no better.
Now he just begining to show the heart it took to get where he is today
His whole teenage life was under the light how many of us can say we havent made HUGE mistakes whe we were young...........I HAVE

I have spent some time in northen USA and I got critised for being arrogant too.......Maybe its a southern hemisphere thing. And we all know the media has the power to make anyone look like they want them to be.

Where can us kiwis watch these races is the big question?

As soon as anyone knows PLEASE tell us.

Yeah keen to see how he goes. He's qualified 17th so not too great, he's about 3 seconds behind the leader (Dungey). Hopefully he can step it up in the main races

For anyone interested, this:

http://de.justin.tv/besweeet11#/w/1915018544/2

will apparently be showing the cup once nascar is over. He's showing Speed TV in the add breaks at the moment. Will miss most of the heats but should be good for the main events.

And live timing is here: http://wire.ama-cycle.org/

Took the commentators a while to actually give him props....too busy wanking on about Dungey

|garth|
16th October 2011, 18:05
F**k RV was fast. The others are gonna have to step up their game to keep up with him next season. Dungey did pretty well though for only having been on the KTM for a few days. Pity about Ben in the second race, first ride was awesome though considering how much down time he's had lately.

in racer x it said that he had bent the chain guard and that was binding against the wheel, they changed the wheel but it was still binding and they did not have time to change the guide as well, there was very little time between the heats,

There's a guy on RacerX who swears Ben's bike was tampered with. Something about the Yanks not wanting him to steal their guys limelight.

From a lot of the posts I get the feeling they're also still pissed at Ben's apparent take out on Short during the MXoN last year.

Watch the entire 3rd main from Broc Tickle's POV as he battles his way back from a bad start.

there are some idiots online, do not beleive them, the bike was fine for most of the second moto, and then he either got hit by someone or a rock got it,

his mechanic there was Tyla Rattray Step father, (you can see him in the vid's, he was Ben's practice mechanic in europe in 2004/ 2005 when him and Tyla were on KTM's,

There is a vocal few that still bring up the block pass on Short, but none of them are any more than keyboard warriors,

A successful trip overall. He did the right thing pulling off the track rather than risk another crash. He's had his share .
The majority of yanks seem to love BT. Hope there's a good ride for him after this for next season.
I can understand his outdoor only reasoning but you gotta wonder how he would do in the SX series,

I agree, he won an SX lite's title in 2007 and almost won the outdoors title that same year.

Go BT101 where ever you end up in 2012

There are many other New Zealanders if given the chance would steal a lot of lime light from the yanks. With all these teams signing riders up from the age of 10 or even less it will be even harder for New Zealanders to make it into a factroy team to take on the yanks in there own back yard.
