Engine repairs, Palmerston North?

so being an idiot i decided to break one of the bolts that holds the camshaft bracket to the head - then proceeded to break the tap i was using to clean out the thread. any recomendations for someone in palmerston north who can repair this?

Gutting dude....dont worry youre not alone Ive done it too.

Bolt on my ZZR camshaft holder broke off and ended up taking bike to a mate in an engineering shop in hamilton, who managed to remove the broken bolt and retap the engine head.

Would suggest you try a local engine re-conditioner, or a local small engineering shop (from memory there where a couple of places on Tremaine Ave?). They may have the right tools for the job and hopefully not charge too much. If the thread is stuffed and theres enough meat left around the old thread, then they may be able to heli-coil it, or tap in a bigger thread and supply a bigger bolt
