*The better direction. Reverse direction is awesome! Nothing like going through that chicane at top speed then that left hander after it... it's orgasmic.

That bike of yours is such a whore!!!!
Thanks babe:hug: Normally I'd say "fook yeah!!" but I still have a bit of study to finish so not crying into my cornies about having to miss out. (That's sick eh, would rather stay home and study than piss about on bikes... oh well, needs must, almost finished!):wings:

Hi all good to see those of you that turned up. The weather held off for us to have another dry day. My rear tyre is toasted on both sides now and I'm OK with throwing it out now. Reverse direction took a bit to get my head around again. I felt that their was some good hard racing going on. Thanks to Fi5hy and Hamish for the battles. One face I came in gasping thinking that it was a hard workoutl.
Thanks to Fishy and Nigel for organising the day.
PS please get your mates with bikes out for next time. The turn out was a but dismal compaired to last years series.
See ya next time.

Yeah it was a good day & lucky with the weather. Pity I'm such a girls blouse, but I'd really had enough, still stiff & sore from saturday. + that reverse direction on the 50 there is no where to really pass & only two areas getting desperate by stuffing it up the inside top left or bottom right corner with some silly braking. But I've had too many close calls with my rear wheel right up in the breeze praying I can stop in time to avoid getting turned over.
Those kart guys may also reconsider the reverse direction, a couple of those crashes into the pit wall were really nasty to watch.

Yeah it was rather dodgy but I love reverse direction. I think it's easier to keep up with faster bikes in reverse, probably because there is never really a chance to have the throttle wide open for a long time. I dunno. I was still really slow in about 2 corners on the track and I'm not sure why. Big wussy girl I think.
I agree that it was also a little bit harder to pass doing this direction. I'm gonna sort my suspension out again I think and try a slightly harder compound of slicks because the supersoft bridgestones are getting destroyed on my bike. They weren't toooo bad yesterday but they still go off in the last few laps of a race and I start crapping myself (mostly only the rear tire, the front is ripping up but seems consistent enough throughout a race). When they don't rip to bits they are the best tires I have ever ridden with. I don't know about other peoples experiences with them but they seem to be really fussy. I know my suspension is softer than most others but that seems to be how I like it. It could also be my riding style..? I have tried running all sorts of tire pressures.
Anyway, I enjoyed yesterday. It's a shame there wasn't much of a turn out. WHERE IS EVERYONE!?

2nd that! I know it's school holidays and s***, only more reason to drag kids to the track for the day:bash: Hopefully everyone turns up next month...best way to show appreciation for all the effort to put on a series eh:chase:
Anyways...first time I'd ever been reverse direction along with most of the other B-graders I think? Took a while to figure it out and had a blast. Rogues was in a class of his own...
Full credit goes to all bikers (actually listening to Fishie at briefing for once!) and us having no incidents in the chicane, as plenty of the young karters found out the fast way - hope the young girl is ok.

Had planned on bringing the tribe up for a look but figured it better to actually do some work on my bike in preparation for next months event.

Well biker bee and I will be present and accounted for for the next round. Biker bee has already paid for a third of her fees already by helping re-organise the house so I'm shouting her a spare set of levers.
Have the results for the last round been posted yet?

Just checked with the Karts people. The young girl is OK, just some bruising.
