The new for 2013 Honda CRF450R has undergone radical design changes to improve stability issues, and safety. A change in radiator design is the most noticeable, as is the move from handlebars to a steering-wheel. The cross country model will lose its unreliable electric start which will be replaced by Honda's new S.W.E.T. hand cranking system (swing wildly each time...)
Fans of the easily broken and fabulously expensive front brake lever assembly will be excited to hear that it has been joined by a new $222.00 lower fork guard (each side) and tear off seat covers for when the going gets really boggy...
Multiple 20cc cylinders that revolve around a new vitrified cork crankshaft makes 300,000 rpm. and Honda says you can get 20-30 minutes of hard racing out of the motor before a complete rebuild is in order.
