Hi Can anyone tell me where to get details of the training / up skill days held at Taupo track that have been running this year. I think Aaron slight has attended a few of them and instructed there also. I was chatting to a guy a couple of days ago that has been on them and he reckoned that they are going to be some more over the summer.

But, I dont have a contact no for him and I forgot to ask where to find the info out. I cant find anything on the net. Maybe im not looking hard enough, or looking inthe wrong places. Anyone know where to find the info?

thanks

It's a typical bike thing...let's not tell anyone about it. I booked my old man into one of these last year and it was unbelievably difficult to get the info about them. I emailed, called, put feelers out to a heap of people. It was the Ride Forever site that got back to me in the end.

The course was run by Honda if I remember rightly (hence Slight being there) and it was sponsored by ACC. The stupid thing was, the only put one ad in the paper advising people of it. It was just lucky my brain was working that day and I remembered minor details. I mentioned this to Ride Forever/ACC and made some suggestions and they said they'd improve it for the future.

Maybe it's just too early for them to advertise yet. Check on their website, they may have gotten around to putting a calendar type thing up.

The old man thought it was alright (oldie returning to riding) but too many clowns using it as a cheap trackday. I thought the local one, sponsored by ACC also, was better. Took each individual on the road to work on things which I thought was good.

Sorry I couldn't be more help but worse comes to worse, contact ACC through Ride Forever and gets some of your monies worth :) Shit, if they still do them for $30 your mad to really.
